Good Morning Britain viewers spotted Kate Garraway' s possible subtle tribute to Queen Elizabeth II as she hosted the final show of the week.
The ITV show continued once again earlier this morning [September 16], with Kate joined by Ben Shephard as they prepared viewers for a special segment focused on King Charles III's visit to Cardiff, Wales - his first since becoming King following the passing of his mother Queen Elizabeth II.
Over a week on from the late Head of State's death, ITV - along with many other broadcasters - have continued to tweak their normal TV schedules in favour of covering news related to the Queen's passing, her upcoming funeral and the new King's accession to the throne.
Usually, This Morning airs on Friday's, hosted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, but it won't air later today as ITV instead plan to show rolling news coverage of the King's historic visit to Cardiff once Good Morning Britain wraps things up later this morning.
It has not yet been confirmed when This Morning will return but it likely will be on Tuesday, as ITV are airing multi channel coverage of the Queen's funeral on September 19 from early in the morning, continuing throughout the entire day.
Kate hosted today's edition of Good Morning Britain dressed in black once again, accessorising her sombre dress with a pearl necklace - something several viewers picked up on.
"Nice to see Kate wearing a pearl necklace," one viewer declared on Twitter as the show aired, while another added: "Is K Garraway wearing her pearls in honour of the Queen?"
Queen Elizabeth II was often spotted wearing her favorite three-strand pearl necklace prior to her death last week - a gift from her beloved father, King George VI, who passed away in 1952.
In later years, the late monarch owned three nearly identical pearl necklaces that she rotated freely - with the first joining her collection in 1953, when Emir of Qatar gifted her with an almost identical piece.
Some Royal Family followers believe the Queen rotated the pearl strands so she never wore the prized and treasured original in public.

Following the Queen's death last week, tributes have poured in for the late monarch, with her eldest son - and the new King - leading the way.
"The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family. We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother," he said in a heartbreaking statement.
"I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world. During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held."
