Good Morning Britain viewers say same thing as Susanna Reid returns with Martin Lewis

Those tuning into Good Morning Britain on Monday, September 5 were delighted to welcome back Susanna Reid to the show following a break for the summer. The presenter made her return alongside Money Saving Expert founder Martin Lewis.

Ahead of her appearance a fresh-faced Susanna, 51, took to Instagram to share her excitement at being back. She told her 605k followers: "BRING ON THE GLAM! Looking forward to being reunited with a full face of make up and @debbiedresses styling team in the morning. See you at 6am @gmb on the day the new PM is announced & Martin Lewis joins us for his Money Mondays."

And as she opened the show and addressed Martin, Susanna said: "It's very good to be back, it's very good to see you back by the way."

Sharing their excitement for Susanna's return to the GMB panel, one viewers wrote: "I got up especially early today for Susanna's return! #GMB."

While another added: "I have waited long enough for your much anticipated return, hope you had a fantastic Summer break (you certainly had the weather). Welcome back Susanna."

And a third said: "Welcome back from your summer break Susanna. I am looking forward to seeing you and Martin Lewis on Good Morning Britain at 6am today."

While a fourth commented: "Looking forward to the show as ever! Money Mondays urgently needed... Thank you both!"

Susanna and Martin wasted no time getting stuck into the news of the day, namely the Tory leadership result ahead of the next prime minister's appointment and the cost of living crisis. Today's show also marks the first of Martin's Money Mondays, which saw the consumer champion address the soaring energy costs.
