Good Morning Britain viewers complain over interview as presenter issues continue with Kate Garraway and Adil Ray

Good Morning Britain viewers were flocking to social media to share their annoyance after issues with the show's presenters continued into another day. On Thursday's show (April 7) Kate Garraway was joined by Adil Ray.

54-year-old Kate has been filling in for Susanna Reid all week as she takes her annual Easter break. From Monday through to Wednesday she was joined by Richard Madeley, and fans were left unimpressed by a habit they couldn't help but notice.

However, this appeared to continue during the latest edition of the ITV news programme - despite Kate getting Adil as her latest co-host. The pair were joined live in the ITV studio, based in London, by snowboarder Tim Blakey who shared the shocking story of when he plummeted 15ft while out on his own but survived to tell the tale.

He had fortunately managed landed on a fragile shelf of ice to break his fall but had just three percent battery left on his phone. But in a moment that probably saved his life, Tim remembered that pressing the on/off button five times on the device would call emergency services for him.

"Somehow, I managed to land on this snow bridge which was no bigger than my board," he said. "I still rack my brains about it," Tim added before Kate interjected asking him what exactly a snow ridge was before he continued his story.

Tim Blakey appeared on the show to chat to Kate and Adil (ITV)

"It's just like a little ice shelf that was in the crevasse," Tim recalled with the GMB hosts. "My mind trying to go to bed every night just replays what would have happened if I missed that little bridge and fallen off deeper. I'm sure I wouldn't have got a 3G connection down there.

"So that's the thing. For the first few minutes, I'm going to stand here and call out for help and if someone has seen me they'll be here in the next few minutes. It was only after about maybe four or five minutes that I realised nobody's seen me go down. This is quite bad."

He added: "That was the scary thing was I didn't know how long that little shelf was going to hold. There was actually a crack between that shelf and the back wall which was making me a bit nervous. It was like one of those horror movies. Because it was a warm day and it was constantly dripping and snow falling."

As Tim explained how he remembered a trick with his phone that enabled him to call for help, Adil interrupted talking about his own phone, before Tim was able to carry on. While viewers were enjoying listening to Tim's remarkable story, others were left frustrated by the constant interruptions - something that has been plaguing the show this week.

@Lottie917 tweeted: "Dear lord, just let Tim speak instead of butting in with Qs. Interesting story but infuriating watch @gmb #gmb."

GMB viewers felt for Tim (ITV)

"It was interesting and I wanted to hear him talking about what happened, but them 2 kept interrupting. Why bother having guests, they could just tell the story instead. Bloody joke!" @angelicaworlds complained.

@IcemanBrutus fumed: "Well done on getting out alive. The other 'Horror story' was Kate and Adil constantly talking over him. People called Piers for it but Kate is terrible for talking over guests and other presenters, this week with her and Richard Madeley has been car crash tv."

"Poor bloke couldn't get a word in!!!" @Charnic123 observed as @LisaGoo07645616 pleaded: "Please just let this man tell his story without the constant interruptions #gmb."
