Good Morning Britain format change sees Richard Madeley host from the studio alone

Good Morning Britain has announced a format change for Monday, April 25. Those tuning into the ITV breakfast show will be welcomed by Richard Madeley, who will be presenting from the studio in London without his co-host.

This is because Susanna Reid has travelled to Poland to present live from the Polish-Ukrainian border. The special edition of the show will see the 51-year-old interview Amelia, 7, whose rendition of Let It Go in a Kyiv bomb shelter went viral several weeks ago.

Announcing the news on Twitter on Sunday night, Susanna wrote: "Tomorrow I am @gmb in Poland with a special interview with Amelia and her mum Lilia. The 7-year-old who sang 'Let It Go' in the Kyiv bomb shelter has become a symbol of her nation. And I'll be reporting from the Polish-Ukrainian border live from 6am Monday #GMB."

Susanna was flooded with comments from fans, as one wrote: "I'm looking forward to watch[ing] the interview tomorrow morning Susanna at GMB in Poland. Stay safe and keep well." "So looking forward to this interview. Best of luck," commented another.

Richard's return comes after his break away from screens for the Easter break. He was joined by Sean Fletcher giving the news headlines and entertainment editor Richard Arnold.
