Fans of Good Morning Britain threatened to "switch off" as they saw one regular host return today.
Richard Madeley was back on the ITV talk show alongside co-host Susanna Reid. Before today, he had not been seen on GMB since August 10, leading to some fans speculating that he had been sacked for his controversial views.
In Madeley's place, former Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls and Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis had been taking it in turns presenting the show - both proving to be a hit with fans.

But when viewers saw Richard back on their screens today, they instantly took to Twitter to complain. Paul said: "Oh f*** Madeley's back! Bye bye #GMB, off to #skynews."
Loz said: "Oh no Richard Madeley is back @GMB wtf? I mean why are they giving airtime to this relic? That's me finished with #GMB again whenever that creep is fronting it, for God's sake bring back either Ed Balls/Martin Lewis permanently and get rid of Madeley..."
A third said: "#GMB Madeley back I'm off." Meanwhile, another user said: "Pity Madeley’s back. It’s been such a lovely break without him. #GMB."
Rich added: "#gmb Why on earth have you ruined the show again, it's been such a blissful few weeks without Madeley! Balls and Lewis are watchable. This guy must boost the ratings elsewhere in seconds."
But not everyone hated him being back and some viewers actually missed him. Sarah said: "Yaaayyy Richard Madeley is back!!! Congratulations on being a grandad @richardm56". Scott said: "I like Madeley on #GMB, You just never know what he's gonna come out with."
Richard recently welcomed a new grandchild into his family, as his daughter Chloe Madeley gave birth to a little girl, named Bodhi Rae Georgia. Chloe recently shared that she delivered her daughter via an emergency C-section.
