Good Morning Britain viewers were left stunned on Tuesday when they realised who a guest in the studio was.
Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid were once again at the helm of the morning programme, and amid much conversation and debate around Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, and his recent TV interviews, the presenters were discussing some of the revelations that have come out in recent weeks.
Before the show went to a break, viewers were told Prince Harry's "former flame" would be live in the studio after the adverts.

Catherine Ommaney, 51, appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about her relationship with Prince Harry. The Real Housewives of DC star is said to have had a fling with the Duke of Sussex when he was 21 and she was 34.
She said they met through mutual friends and while there wasn't an immediate physical attraction, they shared a sense of humour and similar experiences. She said there was a "connection" there.
Many GMB fans were completely taken aback by her appearance on the show. Taking to Twitter, Amer said: "Scraping at the bottom of the barrel here", while Linz said: "For what purpose is this lady on GMB?"
Sarah Jane said: "You've absolutely scraped the barrel #GMB". Betty said: "This is becoming really cringe", and Stuart said: "Blimey, change the record".
ITV has been approached for comment.
