Alex Beresford revealed he had been scolded by his family as he found himself in the Queen's "bad books".
The 41-year-old presented the weather on today's edition of Good Morning Britain. Friday's edition of the ITV news programme was anchored by Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh.
Ranvir addressed Alex's "faux pas" from yesterday's episode when Charlotte Hawkins called him out for not wearing a tie while he presented in front of Buckingham Palace. Alex vowed to find a tie during the show and joked: "Off with his head. I'm so sorry."

Alex moved away from the hub of the Jubilee Celebrations for today's show as he presented the weather from the Television Centre. Ranvir joked the move was inspired to escape the Queen's "glare".
Alex apologised again as he revealed he had been scolded by his auntie for the wardrobe gaffe. He said: "I'm in the bad books, but not just with Her Majesty but I must say sorry to my auntie Jan in Bristol actually because she was the first to message me yesterday at 6.05.
"She was furious that I wasn't wearing a tie outside Buckingham Palace so I'm sincerely sorry. I think I've said sorry to just about everybody I could say sorry to."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITV Hub
