NEW DELHI: As Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) prepared to take on defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2024 opener on Friday, former South Africa great AB de Villiers expressed his heartfelt wishes for his friend and former RCB colleague, Virat Kohli.
Kohli, the former RCB skipper, is set to make his return to competitive cricket after nearly two months, having opted out of the recently concluded Test series against England at home. Since the previous IPL, Kohli has only played two T20 games, both against Afghanistan in January, marking his anticipated comeback to the cricketing arena.
