Gondwana Socy told to shift by NU, seeks Nitin Gadkari help

NAGPUR: The Gondwana Geological Society (GGS) has rushed a letter to Union minister Nitin Gadkari after it was told to shift office from Nagpur University (NU) Geology Department to a small room on the same premises at Law College Square.

Established in 1981, GGS is one of the pioneering earth science societies in India, promoting the cause of advanced geoscientific study and research of the rocks, ranging in age from Hadean to Holocene (oldest known to the youngest known rocks).
