I found the WAVE Putt device worked well, although it still does take some time to get comfortable with putting to a distance or number in your head rather than the familiar visual of a hole. That said, once you are used to it, it is good fun and much more accurate than many other simulator putting I have tried.
The playing experience is absolutely what I would want it to be. There are no unnecessarily long loading times, the written graphics are informative, and the clarity of the animations is exceptionally realistic. There are a number of formats that will suit a broad spectrum of golfers, from young kids and complete novices to more experienced, serious players, there really is something for everyone. Another feature that genuinely enhances the user experience is the super speedy response time when using theGolfzon WAVE. As soon as the ball hits the screen, the ball flight projection begins with little to no lag that can be apparent in other products. This really enhances the reality of the simulation.
Another feature that I feel makes the Golfzon WAVE a real standout in this space is the versatility of the unit in terms of its functionality as a high-quality outdoor launch monitor. I put it through its paces extensively outdoors up against one of the industry leaders in the launch monitor space and it performed admirably. At no stage did the variance in yardage exceed +/- 2 yards and the spin and launch numbers were equally comparable.
While a price tag of £3999.99 is not insignificant, the value here is unquestionable. With many other solutions running into the tens of thousands with very comparable functionality and accuracy, the Golfzon WAVE is a standout product.
