Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has landed a role reporting on Super Bowl 57 in Arizona.
Spiranac - who boasts more Instagram followers than Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy - will work as a correspondent for American news channel Inside Edition at Sunday's NFL showpiece.
The former golf pro has amassed millions of online fans for her glamorous modelling shoots and tips on the course. And Spiranac's profile has now earned mainstream recognition as she will be broadcasting on TV for the biggest match in American sport.
Spiranac, 29, will report live as Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a highly-anticipated clash at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. It will be a clash of two totemic quarter-backs as Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes goes head-to-head with Eagles opposite number Jalen Hurts.
Announcing her news on Twitter, Spiranac wrote: "Excited to announce I’m the guest Super Bowl corespondent for @InsideEdition this week! Catch me on TV to see all the fun!"
Given her golf expertise, Spiranac would perhaps have been more likely to attend the now-iconic Waste Management Phoenix Open, which will conclude just 30 miles away from the Super Bowl in Scottsdale this weekend.
The PGA Tour event has become famous for its fervent atmosphere and is one of the best attended golf tournaments in the world. Spiranac will be one of thousands piling into Arizona for the weekend sporting bonanza, and gave her verdict on the golf event when expressing her thoughts on last year's Super Bowl half-time show.
"The same people who hate this years half time show also think the waste management tournament is bad for golf. And those people are wrong," Spiranac said last year.
Dr Dre, Eminem and Snoop Dog were among the headline performers last year, and Spiranac will see Rihanna make a long-awaited return for the mid-match entertainment this time round.
Super Bowl 57 is scheduled to kick off on Sunday 12 February at 23:30, with the half-time show due to start at around 01:00.
