Plans for a Liverpool golf club, which has a Grade II-listed Victorian villa at its centre, to create a number of serviced apartments on site have been given the green light.
Huyton & Prescot Golf Club comprises a building once known as Hurst Hall, which was developed in the 1830s, and a mature landscape which was laid out as an 18-hole golf course in the 20th century.
The planning application, which has been approved by Knowsley Council, proposes the alteration, refurbishment and change of use of the upper floors of the existing clubhouse to create five serviced apartments, as well as a new ground floor extension comprising changing facilities, an orangery and colonnade.
