Golf has been added to the 2026 Commonwealth Games following its success at the last two Olympics.
The sport returned to the Olympic schedule in Rio in 2016 and Tokyo four years later, consisting of men's and women's individual stroke play.
Golf will now make its debut at the Commonwealth Games in Australia in 2026 although at this stage the format remains unclear. BMX and coastal rowing will also debut in Victoria, while shooting and 3x3 basketball will return.
