Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell melted hearts over the weekend when they transformed into royalty to celebrate their "precious" granddaughter's fourth birthday.
The couple, 76 and 71 respectively, were doting grandparents to youngster Rani Rose, now four - who is the youngest child of Goldie's daughter Kate Hudson, 43.
Taking to Instagram to mark Rani's birthday, Goldie - who has two children, including Kate, from a previous marriage - posted an "adorable" photo of herself, Kurt and Rani.
It showed Rani - whose father is musician Danny Fujikawa, 36 - wearing a blue, fairytale-like dress and a tiara as she posed with her grandparents outside a property.
Goldie wore a more understated blue gown and a crown on her head, whilst husband Kurt - whom she shares son Wyatt Russell, 36, with - wore a similarly regal attire.
Alongside the post, the Death Becomes Her actor wrote a heartfelt caption in which she expressed her love for their "precious" granddaughter, who is "the real queen".
Goldie wrote: "Happy 4th birthday our precious Rani Rose. You are the real queen. I'll take Lady in waiting everyday as long as the prince is always beside me. WE LOVE YOU".
The post has attracted more than 300,000 likes on the platform and prompted numerous comments, ranging from birthday wishes to compliments over Goldie and Kurt's efforts.
Sharon Stone responded: "Oh my gawd. This is the best". Fellow actor Octavia Spencer wrote in the comments section: "Little princess hanging out with the King and Queen".
"This is an absolutely adorable picture," wrote another follower in response to the post. Whilst a fourth person commented: "So cute. Such blessed and wonderful grandparents".

Another follower said they should be considered "grandparents of the year" for their efforts, with others expressing similar sentiments in response to the post.
"What a lovely childhood to have grandparents who become whomever to make the dream work. Just lovely," responded another follower on the platform.
"This is the most adorable thing ever," said another follower in the comments section. "How lucky to have Goldie Hawn as your grandma. Coolest grandma," said another.
Rani's grandparents have been together since 1983. The couple - who have dismissed the idea of getting married over the years - welcomed their son Wyatt in 1986.
Goldie has two children - Kate and Oliver Hudson, 46 - from her previous marriage to Bill Hudson, 72. The siblings are understood to have been raised by Kurt though.
Kurt - who is affectionately refered to as 'pa' by both Kate and Oliver - also has a child from a previous relationship himself. He's the father of Boston Russell, now 42.
