An old age pooch is appealing for a new owner.
Fifteen-year-old Jack Russell Terrier Mindi is currently staying in foster care through Dogs Trust West Calder.
Her carers say she is a gentle girl who loves human company.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “Mindi adores being centre of attention and likes to snuggle up beside her favourite people for a neck scratch.
“She enjoys the quiet life where she can take things at her own pace. She loves curling up in her cosy bed for an afternoon nap after exploring on her walks. She will happily spend time pottering around the garden where she can have a good sniff or fetch her tennis ball.
“Mindi would like for her owner to be at home with her most of the day to give her plenty fuss and attention.
“A polite girl who is fully housetrained, Mindi would love to have her own private garden to relax in.
“This gorgeous golden girl would make a fantastic companion for a calm household that can offer her a loving and peaceful retirement home.”
