JAIPUR: Customs officials at the Jaipur International Airport detained a passenger from Dubai and seized 116.590g 99.9% pure gold worth Rs 5,79,452 on Wednesday morning. During the search of the passenger, two gold buttons were found duly concealed in his mouth under the tongue.
Assistant commissioner of Jaipur airport, BB Atal said while checking through a metal detector, the beep didn’t stop. "We checked all his clothes, but still the beep didn’t stop. So, we did a thorough checking and found two gold buttons in his mouth hidden. He was detained.”
