Gold outlook
Mr. Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., president of IBJA says, "Gold and silver had a volatile week, driven by conflicting forces — rising Middle East tensions boosted safe-haven demand, while a sharp shift toward hawkish Fed rate expectations pulled prices back down. Gold hit a two-week high above $4,150 before falling under $4,100 after strong US jobs and PMI data raised the odds of another rate hike. The dollar and Treasury yields strengthened, adding pressure on bullion, while the rupee briefly weakened before recovering on RBI support. With the Fed's decision due next week and Gulf tensions unresolved, both metals remain highly sensitive to news, with clear support and resistance levels ahead. Key levels to watch: gold support between $3,950–4,000 and resistance at $4,150; silver support between $56.50–57.00 and resistance at $61.50–63.00."
