Gold outlook
Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., president of IBJA says, "Gold and silver fell sharply last week, with silver hit hardest, as an unusual trend emerged: war in the Middle East pushed prices down instead of up. Oil surged nearly 13% on US-Iran clashes and Hormuz threats, reviving inflation fears and raising expectations of a September Fed hike. Central banks, led by China, kept buying, while Western ETF holdings and Indian retail demand stayed weak. Sentiment remains cautious-to-bearish, with fair value near $4,100 for gold. A break below $4,000 could deepen losses toward $3,900, while a hold above $4,200 opens the door to $4,500. Silver stays range-bound between $55 and $63."
