The 22k gold price fell at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas and Kalyan Jewellers today (Tuesday, September 15, 2026), while it rose at Tanishq as leading brands updated their yellow metal prices. Gold and silver outlook
Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., president of IBJA, said, "Gold steadied Tuesday after a one-month low, with all eyes on Wednesday's Fed decision, where markets price a near-certain quarter-point hike to 3.75%-4.00%. Spot gold holds support at $4,300 (~Rs 151,000); a sustained break below opens the door to the $4,150 (~Rs 145,500) psychological level as the next line of defence, while resistance sits at $4,430-4,500 (~Rs 154,500-156,000). Spot silver has carved out a Head and Shoulders pattern, with neckline support at $62.5 (~Rs 231,000) needed to keep the broader uptrend intact. A break below that opens the way toward $60 (~Rs 220,000) and $57 (~Rs 210,000), while $67 (~Rs 244,000) caps the near-term upside."
