Manchester United fans have shared their pleasure after seeing Hannibal Mejbri make his World Cup debut for Tunisia against Denmark.
Hannibal was named on the bench against Christian Eriksen's Danes in their opening match in Group D. However, following a good performance from his teammates, Hannibal was entrusted to replace captain Youssef Msakni to help see out the latter stages of the match.
Despite only being on the field for 15 minutes in total, Hannibal was involved in one controversial moment. Just moments after entering the game, the teenager was forced to make a last-ditch challenge on Joakim Maehle.

Maehle appealed for a penalty after it appeared he was brought down unfairly but fortunately for Hannibal, the ball had already gone out of play. Tunisia would end up securing a creditable point against the Danish and the United youngster will be pleased with his performance.
Hannibal has made just three appearances for the United's first team but this season he has been gaining more competitive football on loan at Birmingham City. The 19-year-old has featured in all of the Blues' Championship matches this campaign and has gained some plaudits in the process.
Birmingham manager John Eustace believes Hannibal is a top player but he feels that the Tunisian needs to avoid the referee's attention on more occasions. However, despite this, the midfielder will be left feeling proud that he has managed to burst into the national team at such a young age.
It is clear that United fans are also proud of their academy player after seeing him make his World Cup debut. Here is how they reacted on Twitter.
