In the latest episode, as the pair tucked into their Easter treats, Pete took the opportunity to show off his unique way of opening up a chocolate egg.
However, his ‘hack’ left viewers concerned as he smashed the egg on his head.
While holding up an egg wrapped in a golden wrapper, Pete explained to his sister: "Did you know the way to open an Easter egg is to smash it off your head? You just hit the pointy bit off your head."
Pete then told his sister to "watch this" as he lifted the egg and smashed it against his forehead with a loud thud. Sophie couldn't help but burst into laughter but Pete grabbed his head in agony.
Sophie told him: "I think I've got a fractured skull just from watching you."
The Gogglebox official Twitter account shared the clip and issued a warning to viewers: "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME". Fans had voiced their concerns after watching the moment between the siblings.
@Lauren014816962 Tweeted: “Hurt my head just watching it lol.” @KayleighAnslow admitted: “Tried it once, learned my lesson not to try and hit it off my head.”
@Neotenyx said: “I felt that.” @coxyhockeychick commented: Oh Pete!!! Ouch #gogglebox. While @abihenshaw_ added: “Pete & Sophie on gogglebox are the highlight of my Friday evenings and I wouldn’t have it another way.”
