Gogglebox stars including Pete Sandiford and Gordon Ramsay in tears at little boy's tragic cancer death

Gogglebox stars have been left heartbroken over a little boy's tragic cancer death.

Dylan-James passed away weeks before his fourth birthday after being diagnosed with Wilms Tumour eleven months earlier. His mother Alison bravely shared his story as part of Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK's Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

Stars such as celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and Pete Sandiford could not hold back their tears as they watched the programme. Pete, who welcomed his first child with wife Paige in September last year, told his sister Sophie: "Imagine hearing that your two-year-old son has got a tumour on his kidney.

"The scary thing is, this could be anybody in the same position. When you have children ... life is so precious, you don't realise how lucky we are and we need to find a cure. Nobody should be going through this."

And wiping away his tears, Gogglebox star Lee Riley said to his pal: "I don't have any children, Jenny. But I feel the hurt."

Viewers were also left in tears and decided to share their grief with others on Twitter. Sara said: "I don’t think there can be a dry amongst the #Gogglebox viewers right now."

Sue wrote: "Gogglebox is a tough watch tonight, but it is at least nice to see that Gordon Ramsey has a heart."

Bella commented: "Well that’s me broken!! I’m looking at my two year old now and bawling my eyes out! I cannot even comprehend that level of pain!"

Bobby said: "That is so devastating man." Simone Moore tweeted: "If you aren’t crying at #Gogglebox right now are you even a person."

Lee Hood said: "I’m in floods of tears this story is heartbreaking I feel for this poor mother." And Mama T wrote: "Not a dry eye in the house."
