Gogglebox star Tom Malone Jr has embraced his next career move since leaving the TV show.
He's back on our screens but not as a couch critic.
Fans of the Channel 4 show may have missed seeing Tom Jr on the Malone family sofa, but the last year has certainly been eventful for the professional dancer.
Since leaving the show in February 2021, which he announced on Instagram at the time, his year has been jam packed and has just got busier.
Last year he said: "So after 6 and a half years it’s finally time to put down the remote, and to say goodbye to Gogglebox.
"I’ve loved every minute and I’m eternally grateful to @channel4 and @studiolambert for allowing me to be a part of the show. But new opportunities are knocking on the door and it’s time to explore them."
Now his social media bio reads: "professional dancer/TV personality" and it is this combination that defines his next move.
He has taken his place on E4's show The Real Dirty Dancing alongside a celebrity cast.
The show, hosted by Keith Lemon and Ashley Roberts, sees contestants learn dance routines from the iconic 80s film Dirty Dancing.
In the first episode, which aired on Monday, February 21, Tom joined a line-up that included TV presenter Anthea Turner, Blue band member Lee Ryan, Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson, comedian Verona Rose and Waterloo Road actor Chelsee Healey.
Host, Keith Lemon, said: "You've all been chosen because you are Dirty Dancing super fans".
Adding: "We've got the lake, the cabins, we've got the gazebo but most importantly we've got you".
The show will follow Tom and the nine other famous faces who have signed up to compete to be the next "Baby and Johnny" as they work through all those famous dance routines.
Posting a reel of pictures and a snippet from the show, Tom said on social media "It’s FINALLY here!"
Prior to joining the show, Tom last appeared on our screens in Celebrity Coach Trip alongside his girlfriend Bryony Briscoe.
The Real Dirty Dancing airs Monday and Tuesday's on E4 at 9pm.
