Gogglebox star Sid Siddiqui has received a raft of support from fans after candidly sharing he "doesn't feel safe". The Siddiquis, from Derby, have been on Gogglebox since it launched back in 2013. Baasit, Umar and their dad Sid are much-loved by viewers, while third brother Raza also often puts in an appearance.
Sid is a retired engineer who has been married to wife Nasreen for 38 years. The 75 year old is not as prolific on social media as other Gogglebox stars, but on Thursday, April 27, he took to Twitter to share something he had experienced, reports the Echo.
He said: "This morning I waited 1 hour 55 mins in a telephone queue at my GP surgery, only to be told there are no appointments left for the day and I should start again tomorrow at 8. I don’t feel safe and protected under NHS anymore".
