Gogglebox star Mica Ven returns to her normal job after quitting Channel 4 show

Gogglebox ’s Mica Ven has returned to the realities of life and work after quitting the show.

Mica and her partner Marcus Luther recently left the Channel 4 series after joining the cast in 2018. And now Mica has returned to her role as a hair stylist at her salon in London.

The hair expert took to Instagram to share the news, writing: "Felt good to be back at the main gig @micanicolehairstylist."

"So glad I got my nails & lashes done before going back to work,” she added.

Based in London, Mica owns her own hair salon - Mica Nicole - which offers a range of Afro and European hairstyles for all clients.

Last month, the pair announced that they were leaving the show. Professional boxing trainer Marcus put an end to rumours surrounding the pair’s spot on the series, stating that it was ‘time to put down the remote’.

He wrote on Instagram: “We just want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to @c4Gogglebox for having us for the last 5 years, even though we had to travel so far for filming (downstairs & through the corridor) it was so worth it, it’s been an epic journey! You guys are the bestest of the best.

“We’ve had so much fun with you all tuning in at home and the hardworking @Gogglebox crew but it’s time to put down the remote and see what else God has in store for us. To everyone that has tuned in & sent us messages of love and encouragement over the years, we appreciate every last one of you. Thank you so much.”

The media personality added: “To the amazing cast, you’ll forever be our G’box brothers & sisters 4life. And lastly, To all our Yardie friends & family that always big us up to whoever will listen, when you’re chatting about our departure, the program’s called GOGGLEBOX not GOOOOOGLEbox, it’s not a damn search engine.”

Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 and All 4 Hub in February this year.
