Gogglebox star Mary Killen quit alcohol after 'vomiting for days' during health scare

Mary Killen has spoken about the illness she suffered which led to her quitting alcohol for good.

The Gogglebox star, who is known for passing comment on TV programmes with her husband Giles Wood on the Channel 4 show, has said why she has binned off her beloved glasses of wine about four years ago.

It was at that time that she suffered a bout of campylobacter food poisoning and from then she has been turned off alcohol and will now only have soft drinks.
