Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner won’t be returning to the show this series as she continues to support Nat as he recovers.
Ellie, who appears on the show with her sister Izzi, hasn’t been on the Channel 4 programme since her boyfriend was struck by a car in Halton last month.
A source close to Ellie told The Sun she has been told to ‘take as much time off as she needs’ and it’s unlikely she will return to this series.

The Leeds sisters haven’t appeared on the show for three weeks but fans have sent their well wishes to them as well as Nat.
The source also added Ellie, who has been by Nat’s side around the clock since the accident, has been bombarded with support from fellow Gogglebox stars.
“Ellie’s focus, 100 per cent, is on Nat and supporting him in his recovery,” They said. "She’s been told to take as much time off as she needs and it is very unlikely she will be returning during the current series.
"Producers have told her to take as long as she needs.”
They continued: "She’s been keeping vigil at the hospital. Nat is Ellie’s world and everyone is willing him to pull through and come out the other side.”
A Channel 4 insider added: "Ellie has been bombarded with messages of goodwill from other Gogglebox stars. They are a really close knit group, like a family. Ellie has been overwhelmed with the support. It means a lot to her."
On Friday, March 18 Nat was rushed to intensive care after he was hit by a car in Halton while walking home in the early hours.
A family member confirmed he had suffered a broken neck and back as well as two collapsed lungs.
They added he was also initially placed on a life support machine.
In a short statement, West Yorkshire Police confirmed: "The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and enquiries into the incident are ongoing".
