The latest run of the hit show returned just a day after the Queen's death, with some speculation that it may be postponed as the broadcaster covered the events that followed Her Majesty's passing, at the age of 96.
With just hours to go until the first episode was set to air, execs issued an update, saying that it would be shown as planned, with the statement reading: "Channel 4 exists to offer viewers an alternative and that is particularly important at times like this.
