Gogglebox's Stephen Lustig-Webb has announced he is making a huge change to get rid of the 'Sunday Scaries'.
The TV star has received support from fans of the show as he revealed his plans to give up alcohol to improve his mental health.
On Monday Stephen took to his Instagram page where he told his followers he'd been on his first booze-free night out.
Sharing a snap of a cappuccino, the Channel 4 star said: "First night out in London not drinking done. #nohangover #alcoholfree #noheadaches #nobeerfear #nostrangerdanger #nosundayscaries #onemonthsober"
Fans rushed to the comment section to praise the star on his decision.
One person wrote: "I am now 6 months in to living life without alcohol and could not be happier! My energy levels are through the roof A challenging journey but absolutely worth it. Congrats to you xx"
As a second said: "Awesome Eleven years ago I gave up alcohol and what an amazing life it's been (since then... before then it was pretty damn miserable)"
A third follower commented: "I started dry January in 2022 not drank since! Which for me is amazing!!! Feel so much better, well done keep going x" with another adding: "Well done, I may take a leaf outta your book, I feel like crap this morn."
Another took to the comments to say: "Best thing you’ll do, 10 months for me now and it’s like freedom."
Stephen and his husband Daniel Lustig have become fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme with their funny comments on the week's TV programmes.
The couple once again invited viewers into their home for season 20, which premiered in September.
The news comes as Stephen has been leaving viewers in stitches as usual.
He made a cheeky dig at his husband's bedroom skills.
The pair were back in full swing as they cracked jokes and shared their hilarious reactions to different TV shows and films.
American series Kings of Pain presented by dare devils Adam Thorn and Robert Alleva was first up on the show.
During the episode the animal adventurers let a bearded lizard bite them, knowing that a single bite leaves you in extreme pain.
The host said: "Their hemotoxic and neurotoxic venom trigger deep penetration."
Daniel asked: "You're going to let that bite you?"
Stephen joked that he would allow the venomous creature to bite him because 'it offers deep penetration'.
Daniel responded 'shut up' under his breath but viewers found the moment hilarious as they rushed straight to Twitter and shared their reaction.
One Twitter user wrote: "Stephen cracks me up, funny man" and another commented: "Lol Stephen is hilarious #Gogglebox."
A third said: "He just hilarious says it how it is doesn’t give a s*** that’s what I like keeping it real #Gogglebox."
