Fans have rushed to support Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb after his latest Instagram post.
The 50-year-old took to the social media app this morning, Wednesday, June 28, to inform fans he had been verbally assaulted whilst out with his husband Daniel Lustig. The hairdresser explained how whilst at Hove Sea Front in Brighton, the couple were insulted with homophobic slurs.
The reality TV star urged his followers to “be aware (and) be safe” as the “fight continues”. Stephen signed off the post with the #Homophobiastillexists.

Stephen and his husband Daniel have established themselves as fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme with their hilarious observations on the week's best TV.
Therefore it’s no surprise the Instagram post has already been flooded with support and love - with one fan writing: “So sorry and angered to hear this. Why do people even care about what someone else’s sexuality is? Well, WE ALL LOVE YAS.”
Another fan, @a_fall0n, commented: “It’s pathetic that so many people are obsessed with others’ relationships. They must be utterly miserable in their own lives. Ignore them and be proud.”
@Traceymurphy5 added: “That’s appalling. Thank God you’re who you are and not trapped in the mind and body of the poor soul who thought it appropriate to spew such abhorrent hate on you and your lovely husband.”
@Cbragg785 said: "I'm so sorry that happened to you!! Hope you are both feeling ok. Just know we all love you both and these ignorant idiots don't deserve your time!!"
