Gogglebox's latest series is coming to a close this Friday after 15 weeks on our screens. Throughout the past few months the nation's favourite armchair critics have been sharing their views each week on the most talked about TV moments.
During the series the Gogglebox cast - which include fan favourites such as Sophie and Pete, Marcus and Mica, The Malones, Jenny and Lee and more - have sat down to watch hit programmes that have got the nation gripped. From Bridgerton to the Eurovision Song Contest, Made in Chelsea to Peaky Blinders and Heartstopper including daytime TV moments from This Morning, Good Morning Britain and clips with the latest news headlines - you name it the Goggleboxers have probably watched it.
The final episode of the series is set to air on screens on Friday, May 27 as the Goggleboxers head off for the summer. They'll return in September and in the meantime Celebrity Gogglebox will be filling in the one hour Friday night slot on Channel 4.
So to mark the end of the series, we've put together just some of the most controversial, funny and memorable moments from the 19th series of Gogglebox:
THAT X-rated duck scene
If you haven't watched this episode then count yourself lucky, those of us who did may still be traumatised from the unexpected moment this scene aired. When the Goggleboxers sat down to watch a clip of 'Roar' from Apple TV, it not only left them dumbfounded but shocked fans of the Channel 4 show too. It sparked outrage with some viewers - in total 217 complaints were received by Ofcom following the broadcast, The Mirror reports.
Fans were delighted when Ellie Warner returned to Gogglebox
Long-running Gogglebox stars, sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner took a sudden break from the show in March after Ellie's boyfriend Nat was involved in an accident. But fans were delighted to see her return earlier this month and in her returning scenes, she was seen ringing her boyfriend to ask him what he thought a "shotgun" wedding meant.
Pete trying to crack an Easter Egg on his head
Brother and sister Pete and Sophie Sandiford regularly have viewers in hysterics and this moment from the 19th series should have probably come with a 'Do Not Try This At Home' warning. I think it's fair to say Pete learnt the hard way that cracking an Easter Egg on your head is not the best idea.
Mary came under fire for her comments on the GMB interview with Boris Johnson
Some fans were quick to take to Twitter when this controversial moment happened on the show a few weeks ago, whilst the cast were watching Susanna Reid interview the Prime Minister for Good Morning Britain. The Gogglebox star received backlash from some viewers, who complained about the 'out of touch' comments.
Jenny and Lee spot a mouse in the caravan
Back in March, Jenny and Lee had a shock when a mouse ran behind them on the sofa. The Gogglebox who are friends from Hull, have been missing from episodes over the last few weeks. Jenny had to go into hospital for an operation - but the pair announced earlier this week that they will be back in September.
Stephen's pants falling down when he was skipping
Stephen had his partner Daniel and the viewers laughing when he attempted skipping in his home. After only a few attempts the Gogglebox star, who has been part of the show since it first aired in 2013, suffered a wardrobe malfunction which left his partner, who was off camera, in stitches.
Sophie had viewers sobbing over her comment on the Ukraine crisis
Many of the Goggleboxers are known for putting a smile on our faces each Friday, but there are emotional moments too. During a clip of a news piece on the Ukraine crisis, Sophie Sandiford broke down in tears. The siblings spoke about how they'd feel if they were in the situation, and Sophie said to her brother: "I'm choking up even thinking about that, because I would just stay with you".
The moment Marcus jumped during a scary movie and a canvas fell on his head
Marcus had viewers in hysterics when he sat down with partner Mica to watch 'Drag Me To Hell' last week. One scary moment in the film saw him jump out of his seat but he'd knocked the canvas art work off the wall and within seconds it landed on his head. "This was the funniest moment during #DragMeToHell," Carole tweeted whilst another fan Josh Hartley said: "Thank you @C4Gogglebox @MicaAndTheGang for this. I haven’t laughed so much in my life. Temporarily lost my voice from laughing nonstop #Gogglebox".
The pet pooch who was caught on camera drinking a cup of tea
We'll end with one of the first moments from series 19 and one that left viewers feeling "queasy". The sisters could be heard off camera discussing their pet pooches toilet habits when one of the dogs suddenly took their opportunity. They drank from the cup of tea that had been left on a tray in front of the couches - with both sisters seemingly unaware of what was happening!
The final episode of Gogglebox will be broadcast on Channel 4 from 9pm on Friday, May 27. A best of the series episode will then air on June 3 followed by the new series of Celebrity Gogglebox on June 10 from 9pm on Channel 4 and All 4.
