Gogglebox's Lee Riley admitted he was feeling 'gutted' as he wished his boyfriend a happy birthday.
Lee posted a photo of the happy couple to Instagram. Shoulder to shoulder, the pair are beaming into the camera with their living room and chic white sofa in the background.
Lee captioned the picture: "A big Happy birthday to the love of my life have a fabulous day in sunny Cyprus gutted I Carn’t (sic) be with you to celebrate xx" alongside two red heart emojis.
Lee has lived in sunny Cyprus with partner Steve Mail for a number of years now, and takes regular trips back and forth to be with him whilst juggling filming the Channel 4 show. The pair have been together for nearly 30 years.
But sadly Lee wasn't in the country for his boyfriend's special day. Gogglebox stars and friends rushed to wish Steve a happy birthday in the comments.
Fellow armchair critic Lisa Baggs wrote: "Happy Birthday Handsome ! X" as @harriet_manby said: "Happy Birthday Steve! Have a great day in the sunshine xxx".
Instagram user @patsystew penned: "How Handsome you both are so happy for you both", alongside three red heart emojis while @jawadj2020 said: "Happy Birthday handsome. Gorgeous couple," with a red heart emoji.
Lee found fame after appearing on Channel 4's Gogglebox alongside co-star Jenny Newby in 2014. The pair are known for winning fans over with their hilarious double act from their caravan in Hull.
