Gogglebox's Lee gives update on Jenny's hospital visit telling fans 'thank you, you're great'

Jenny Newby Lee Riley Channel 4

Gogglebox star Lee Riley has given an update on his co-stars operation. He also thanked fans for their concern.

Channel 4's Gogglebox duo Jenny and Lee have been in the news this week for two reasons. Firstly, the programme won a BAFTA and secondly, because Jenny Newby missed the star-studded event due to an operation.

Fans were quick to spot that Jenny was missing from the red carpet line-up when the sofa TV critics scooped Best Reality and Constructed Factual at the awards but co-star Lee Riley revealed that his best friend "isn't very well" and needed to head into hospital for an operation.
