Gogglebox star Ellie Warner discussed babies and wedding plans with boyfriend Nat Eddleston during her return to the Channel 4 show this evening.
The Gogglebox favourite joked about her partner's desire for a 'shotgun wedding' and even spoke to Nat on the phone, as she sat alongside sister Izzi during her TV comeback.
The Leeds-based star has been absent from the award-winning telly-watching show since March, following her partner being involving in accident that left him with life-threatening injuries.
Just hours before Gogglebox aired this evening, Ellie broke her social media silence to confirm she would be back on our screens after two months away.
Within minutes of the show airing at 9pm, Ellie and Izzi were reunited on the sofa - discussing Nat's desire to marry and whether he understands what a shotgun wedding means.
After discussing Nat's plans for a 'shotgun' wedding with her sister Izzi, Ellie then went on to call her boyfriend - putting him on loud speaker as she joked with her partner seemingly not knowing a shotgun wedding means the bride is pregnant.
"I said to Nat this morning, when we get married what type of wedding do you want? And he went: 'A shotgun wedding!" Ellie recalled to sister Izzi.
She continued: "So I said 'ooo does that mean you want me to be pregnant before we get married?' and he said 'no'. I actually want to know what he thought a shotgun wedding was.
Ellie then went on to call Nat to ask him to elaborate, with Nat admitting he thought the term meant the groom was "forced to get married" - with the two sisters laughing at his revelation.
Taking to social media earlier today, the Ellie revealed she would be appearing on tonight's episode of the award-winning show.
"Looking forward to getting back on your screens tonight!" Ellie told her fans on Instagram.
"Thank you for all the well wishes, we are really grateful that things are getting back to normal."
Fellow Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford was one of the many to comment underneath Ellie's update, writing: "Great to see you both back!! Xxxxx"
Dave and Shirl also added a sweet message to their Googlebox colleague, commenting: "Great to have you back xxxx"
Ellie's TV comeback comes after Nat was reportedly knocked down by a white car shortly after midnight on a Friday night in March, after meeting friends for drinks at a pub in the Halton area of the city.
It is believed that he was struck by a white Seat Leon just after midnight.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the road in Halton, Leeds, was cordoned off the following morning.
Prior to Ellie's return this evening, it had been previously been reported that Ellie would not be making a return to Gogglebox anytime soon, as she stayed by the bedside of her partner.
"Ellie has been told to take all the time she needs - everyone on the show is hoping and praying Nat will be ok," an insider told the Daily Star in March, when it was claimed Ellie would be missing the rest of the current series.
The Leeds-based star has appeared on the award-winning production alongside her sister Izzi since they joined the Gogglebox family in 2015.
Gogglebox airs Friday nights on Channel 4 at 9pm.
