Gogglebox bosses have reportedly paid Ellie Warner her full show fee as she continues to miss filming for the Channel 4 hit show.
The Leeds star is currently taking time away from filming to look after her boyfriend Nat who was injured in a hit and run incident last month.
The 31-year-old has been absent from Gogglebox and on social media since Nat was rushed into hospital.
He was initially placed on life support after being mowed down by a white Seat Leon on March 18, in a hit and run that left him with a broken neck and a punctured lung.
It was recently reported that Ellie is going to miss the rest of series 19 however will be paid her £1,500 show fee in full to put her mind at rest about money, amid the ongoing circumstances.
A source told The Sun : "Bosses paid Ellie her full fee for the show - they didn't want her or Izzi worrying about money.
"Of course they've honoured the payments - they take duty of care very seriously on the show."
Ellie herself is yet to comment on Nat and his recovery – but has reportedly "barely left" his side since he was hospitalised.
They continued: “Ellie’s focus, 100 per cent, is on Nat and supporting him in his recovery. She’s been told to take as much time off as she needs and it is very unlikely she will be returning during the current series.
"Producers have told her to take as long as she needs. She’s been keeping vigil at the hospital. Nat is Ellie’s world and everyone is willing him to pull through and come out the other side.”
A Channel 4 insider also added: "Ellie has been bombarded with messages of goodwill from other Gogglebox stars. They are a really close knit group, like a family. Ellie has been overwhelmed with the support. It means a lot to her."
