Channel 4's Gogglebox star Ellie Warner made a return to the show with her sister Izzi on Friday (May 13) night, and she called her partner Nat on the phone in one of the opening scenes. The Leeds-based star has not appeared on the show since March, after her boyfriend, Nat Eddleston, was rushed to hospital.
But Ellie and Izzi returned to the small screen on Friday night at 9pm, and in one of the show's opening scenes, Ellie chatted with Nat on the phone, who sounded well. At first, she appeared chatting with Izzi, joking about Nat not wanting a 'shotgun wedding', a hurried wedding because the bride is pregnant.
Ellie said to her sister that Nat could not have known what it meant, and called him. While Ellie called Nat, Izzi joked that it meant the bride would have a physical shotgun at the wedding, as Nat explained he knew what it meant.

Ellie teased Nat if he would get her pregnant beforehand, to which Nat bluntly replied "no". The conversation went down well with Twitter users.

The show saw the sisters react to shows such as Made In Chelsea, The Circle and Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars among others. And they were back to their usual selves while the cameras were rolling.
According to reports, Nat was knocked down by a car after meeting friends for drinks at a pub in the Halton area of Leeds. West Yorkshire Police confirmed the road in Halton was cordoned off, and it had been previously been reported that Ellie would not be making a return to Gogglebox anytime soon, as she stayed by the bedside of her partner.
The fan favourites have been on the show since 2015. Nat has appeared alongside Ellie on the show before, stepping in for Izzi when she took a brief break from the show in 2020 due to the Covid outbreak.
