They're one of Googlebox's most popular couples and well-known for their no-nonsense commentary when it comes to watching TV - but Dave and Shirley Griffiths have been left alarmed at a scary discovery in their cosy home.
The couple, from Caerphilly in South Wales, took to social media to ask for advice after finding a terrifying spider on their patio at the back of their house.
Sharing a photo of the hairy creepy crawly, they joked: "Found this out the back, any ideas" with spider emojis and silly face emojis.
Hundreds of fans commented to give Dave and Shirley their best advice on what to do - and many suggested the couple move as far away from their home as possible, reports the LiverpoolEcho.
"Yes I've an idea, run away!" said one fan. "Move house! That's the best idea! a second fan agreed.
"Jesus Christ are you trying to give me a heart attack?!!! Made me bloody jump seeing that!! He's a beast!! I'd have to move immediately!" said another.
"I thought you lived in the UK???? WTAF [What the actual f***] is that???" added a shocked fan. "Bloody hell Dave, I wouldn't off [sic] time to take a pic, I would off ran like hell," said another.
One bemused fan dubbed the spider "the dreaded Caerphilly tarantula" whilst another said the spider belonged in the "outback of Australia" and urged the couple to be careful.
Another amused fan said Shirley should let her husband sort the spider out by himself. "Oh my goodness, hide Shirl," she said. "Dave's got this, he's a man, us women don't deal good with big big spiders!"
"Run for your life!" added another.
Dave and Shirley Griffiths are a husband and wife duo from Caerphilly in South Wales and much-loved cast members of Channel 4's hit series Gogglebox.
The couple are well-known for their hilarious commentary on British tv and the playful way they take the mick out of each other and joined the series in 2015 after being spotted by a casting agent. Outside of their appearances on the series, Dave also works as a cleaner in a factory and Shirley works in retail.
The pair have two grown-up children, Simon and Gemma, and love spending time with their family in local pubs. The couple also enjoy travelling across the UK and spent Easter in Brighton.
Sharing a cute snap of Shirley smiling at a table in a restaurant with daffodils in a vase in front of her, the couple said: "Happy easter from a welsh daffodil, love from Brighton and Hove having a break xxx"
Daughter Gemma replied: "You look gorgeous mum, but there's something missing" tagging herself, brother Simon and Dave and Shirley's grandson Elliott.
