Gogglebox stars Dave and Shirley Griffiths have let slip when the new series of the show will start – and that they will be returning to screens.
The husband and wife duo from Caerphilly, who have quickly become fan favourites of the Channel 4 series, made the reveal in a cheeky post to Instagram .
According to the sofa surfers, the 19th series of Gogglebox will start in September.
The announcement was made by the couple, who are currently enjoying an idyllic break.
They took to their shared social media page to share a snap of them on holiday, beaming as they cwtched in for a snap by the pool.
“Happy holidays, see you all in September #Gogglebox,” the caption read, much to the delight of their fans, as it was revealed when fans can expect them back on the popular Channel 4 show.
The series, which sees a cast of armchair critics react to all the latest TV programmes, wrapped up filming in May.
Viewers haven’t been left in the lurch though as Celebrity Gogglebox has been filling some of the void left by the regular show.
The current series is airing on Friday nights and features famous faces like Carol Vorderman, Stacey Solomon and Rylan Clark.
But fans were overjoyed to learn the couple and the series will be returning to screens soon.
"Love the photo guys and miss you both can't wait for September,” one fan wrote in the comments to Dave and Shirley who joined the cast of Gogglebox in 2015.
"Have a fantastic time look forward to seeing you in September,” another said.
“Happy holidays Dave and Shirl. Have fun and stay safe! Can’t wait to see you in September,” a third wrote.
The announcement comes after two Gogglebox stars welcomed babies into their lives.
Last week Mica Ven shared the happy news that she has become a grandmother for the first time.
The 43-year-old TV star posted a pic on Instagram of her kissing the tiny feet of her granddaughter as well as a short video as she celebrated her arrival.
Mica, who appears alongside her partner Marcus on the Channel 4 show, looked totally in love with the newborn baby as she beamed a huge smile.
She also revealed to her 123,000 followers that she will be called Mama Love her granddaughter as she announced that she will be heading off on "graternity leave".
And this weekend Georgia Bell introduced her newborn son to best friend and co-star Abbie Lynn.
The 21-year-old Channel 4 star welcomed her first child, a baby son, with her partner Josh Newby last week.
Just days after giving birth, Georgia met up with pal Abbie who was keen to document her first time meeting with baby Hugh.
The 20-year-old shared a sweet snap of herself holding the tiny tot to her Instagram profile, as she lovingly gazed down at her arms.
