Gogglebox cast members Dave and Shirley Griffiths are celebrating their anniversary. The Welsh couple, who joined the Channel 4 show in 2015, shared a sweet message to mark the occasion.
Dave and Shirley, who hail from Caerphilly, are firm favourites on the series that airs in the familiar slot of 9pm every Friday night. The pair have amassed a large social media following and regularly update Gogglebox viewers on Instagram.
In their latest update, the couple revealed they had been together for an amazing 47 years. Sharing a picture of them side by side, Dave then sent a sweet message to his wife.

He wrote: "Happy anniversary to my lovely wife Shirley, 47 years and so far it's been a blast." The television stars were quickly inundated with well wishes from their fellow Gogglebox cast members.
Izzi Warner wrote: "Happy anniversary to you both," while the Malones added: "Happiest of anniversary wishes to you both."
In 2020, Dave uploaded a throwback picture to the couple's wedding day as they marked 45 years of marriage. Sharing the picture he wrote: "45 years tomorrow, this girl wished upon a star and her dreams came true. Happy anniversary darling."
Still smitten, the Welshman added the hashtags "life goals" and "bliss" underneath the post. In the photo, a young Dave can be seen wearing a brown tuxedo with a red rose pinned to his lapel. He has his hand on Shirley's shoulder who is wearing a swoop-necked bridal gown with an ivory veiled hat perched on her head. You can read more on this here.
