Former Countdown star and TV personality Carol Vorderman left fans amused when she cheekily asked her fellow Gogglebox sofa companion, former politican and writer Gyles Brandreth, a rather personal question - whether or not he's had "rough sex".
Stars of the Channel 4 show - which include the likes of Rylan Clarke and his mum, Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont and Fred Sirieux and his fiance, Fruitcake - watched a programme named How To Build A Sex Room, which follows couples who are looking to renovate a room with a hint of classy erotica and spice with the help of interior designer Melanie Rose.

Watching the show with her friend, Carol, 61, told 74-year-old Gyles: "I've always wanted mirrors on the ceiling." But it was a clip from that section of Gogglebox that didn't make the cut on Friday, July 15 that had fans gasping.
Instead Carol posted the clip on Twitter that sees her asking mild-mannered Gyles: "Have you ever tried the rough sex?" To which he responds, taken aback: "No. To be honest, I have never tried rough sex. I've never tried any of that."
Carol interrogates him and says: "Do you feel like you've missed out in life cause you haven't?"
"No!" Gyles says. "My wife says to me: 'We've had three children, now we've discovered what causes it, we can put a stop to it."
Fans were quick to air their thoughts on Twitter, with one user tweeting: "Carol you crack me up" while another said: "Things you thought you would never hear."
Another response simply said: "Steady on Carol." And another response: "Carol, I'm looking at you in a different light now!!"
While another wrote on the social media platform: "Oh Carol...and to think Gyles is such a gentleman not to ask a reciprocal question! Or did he...? Will watch and find out!"
Sadly viewers didn't get to hear any further thoughts on the matter as the clip wasn't shown on Friday night's edition, which instead showed radio host Roman Kemp squirming as his pop star father Martin Kemp shared some secrets with him about his sex life with Roman's mother Shirley.
This comment from the Carol, who grew up in Prestatyn, comes just days after she appeared on Loose Women opening up about her "free" attitude towards dating - which sees her dating multiple people after having two marriages.
Carol has previously said: "I'm very happy, I have no complaints. I am not dating anyone, I have special friends. Special friends. Plural."
Celebrity Gogglebox continues on Friday, July 22, on Channel 4 at 9pm. You can catch up on All4.
