If you want to dig into the very depths of God of War Ragnarök and unearth everything it hides within, you’ll need to find and destroy all of Odin’s spectral ravens. In the first game, slaughtering all of them just got you an achievement, but the rewards for completing the Eyes of Odin quest are far more substantial this time around.
There are 48 to find across the realms, and we’ll show you where each one is waiting.
Eyes of Odin - Svartalfheim ravens
Aurvangar Wetlands ravens
The first raven you’ll likely find, it sits on the sandy island where you first enter the wetlands. You’ll find it on the north side of the island, perched on a tall rock.
Bay of Bounty ravens
In the Weight of Chains quest, you’ll explore the of a creature that was submerged in the bay.
The first raven here is on the north side of the creature. You’ll need some firebombs to clear the rubble, then there’s a gap you can grapple over, and finally a crawlspace to go through. Once you’re on the other side, you’ll find the raven on your left.
The next is flying roughly in a circle around the watchtower. If you get up close to the Draugr Hile, it’ll make for an easier throw.
The last in this area is in a small loop that hangs from a wooden cran on Radsvinn’s Rig.
The Forge ravens
Just one raven in the forge, flying around a Nornir Chest just after you step off the train from Nidavellir village.
The Quarry near Jarnsmida Pitmines ravens
After you get through The Forge you’ll head down into this quarry with all sorts of cranes, claws, and mining equipment inside. Head down a chain to a gate made of vines that will be impassable at this point in the story. Then, just look straight over the water ahead of you and you’ll see the raven flying around.
The Applecore ravens
Just before you reach Tyr’s cell you’ll spot a raven just after you’ve finished the Applecore water wheel puzzle.
Once you’ve reunited with Atreus after the puzzle, you’ll notice it perched on a wooden beam on the lefthand side of the double wooden doors.
Eyes of Odin - Alfheim ravens
The Strond ravens
On the south side of The Strong’s mystical gateway, just after a Nornir Chest, look left to find one perched on a tree.
Temple of Light ravens
There are two ravens in the Temple of Light, quite far in.
The first is behind a gate with a twilight stone above it. You can’t hit it directly, but on the left, there is another twilight stone that you can ricochet your throw off of to hit the raven.
The second is even further in when you’re ascending the stairs by the light of Alfheim. Shortly after you’ve bagged another Nornir chest, you’ll see a raven overlooking the staircase in a window.
The Canyons ravens
The first raven in The Canyons can be found near Sindri’s shop. You’ll see it flying around here.
The Barrens ravens
Your next raven is in the northwest corner of this area, perched on a tree north of the locked gate.
Then you can find another inside the right eye socket of the giant skeleton.
Forbidden Sands ravens
In the southwest of forbidden sands, hiding behind a troll statue is your next raven.
Look to the skies around Freyr’s statue and you’ll see a raven flying nearby.
Finally for this area, you must look to a rock on the east side of The Forbidden Sands, a raven is perched inside.
Eyes of Odin - Vanaheim ravens
The Southern Wilds ravens
To the northwest of the mystic gateway, you can find this raven when you first arrive here with Brok and Freya.
Freyr’s Camp ravens
You can find another raven just to the north of Freyr’s Camp.
Goddess Falls ravens
You can find this raven flying around near the waterfalls in southwest Vanaheim.
East of the Cliffside Ruins ravens
Before you can get this raven, you need to complete the quest that takes you around to the east of the Cliffside Ruins. Once you’ve dropped down the drawbridge you can get it by heading to the edge of the east side of the bridge and looking down over the river. The bird will be sat on a log.
Pilgrim’s Landing ravens
You’ll find this one during the Cure for the Dead side quest. After you’ve dropped the second bridge, you’ll see the bird perched if you look through the archway to the northeast – next to the chest.
Eyes of Odin - Midgard ravens
Lake of Nine ravens
Once you’re in Midgard, you can find a couple of ravens on the Lake of the Nine. The first is hopping in an ice block on the outside edge at the south of the central temple.
There is another on the west of the Shores of Nine at the top of a climbing route.
Eyes of Odin raven chest rewards
So what do you get for all this trouble? You get to open a bunch of cool chests, that’s what.
The first gives you the Girdle of Raven Tears. It’s a piece of waist armor that gives you 29 Defence and 9 Luck without upgrades. It also has a passive ability that gives you 15% extra from all healing sources, increasing to 30% if you can get the full set.
The second holds the Bracers of Raven Tears. It is wrist armor with 26 Strength, 14 Defence, and 12 Luck. It will also give a buff to healing sources.
The third chest completes the set with the Cuirass of Raven Tears. It gives 25 Strength, 58 Defence, and 25 Luck. It comes with a passive ability that gives you a low chance to produce a healing mist when you attack enemies.
