PANAJI: Heavy and continuous rain with strong winds impacted normal life in several parts of the state on Saturday by damaging houses, damaging electricity equipment resulting in power cuts, disrupting ferry services, and bringing down trees.
Commuters travelling to and from Divar were stranded after the rise in the level of Mandovi submerged the approach road to the ferry.
