MARGAO: On the occasion of World No-Tobacco Day observed on May 31, Goacan has called for every Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL)-managed bus stand in Goa to be declared as a ‘no-tobacco zone’.
In a letter to KTCL managing director Derrick Pereira Neto, Goacan has stated that by declaring their bus stands as no-tobacco zones, “KTC will fulfill its social responsibility of protecting passengers, drivers, conductors and other staff from harm caused by tobacco to health and the environment.”
