GO Outdoors has announced it will be opening three new stores across Merseyside as part of an expansion across the North West of England.
The new branches will be located in Birkenhead, St Helens and Liverpool city centre. The stores will take on an 'express' format, allowing shoppers to purchase specialist outdoor clothing and equipment in convenient high street locations.
Although the stores will be more compact than the traditional GO Outdoors branches, a full range of stock will be available to order and collect in store. The product ranges include tents and camping equipment, fishing, equestrian and climbing equipment.

The stores will stock popular brands including Rab, Berghaus, Peter Storm, HiGear and Brasher. Colleagues will be on hand to offer expert advice and provide services including boot and rucksack fitting.
The new GO Outdoors branches have created 23 job roles in Merseyside and have replaced Millets stores. John Hinde, retail director for GO Outdoors, said: "We are extremely excited and proud to be able to expand GO Outdoors onto the high street in this way in Merseyside and to serve customers within the convenience of their new local store.
