GMP officer who used CS spray to arrest boy, 13, is given warning after watchdog investigation

A GMP officer has received a written warning for his use of CS Spray during the arrest of a 13-year-old.

The written warning was issued by following an investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

The watchdog concluded that "the force used by the officer in this case was neither reasonable nor proportionate and could have been avoided."
