Good Morning Britain producers made a major blunder on the show earlier today.
Eagle-eyed viewers who tuned into the ITV programme spotted an embarrassing spelling error and quickly took to social media to alert the show to their mistake, as Susanna Reid reported live from Westminster after another dramatic day for British politics on Thursday.
Following Prime Minister Liz Truss ' resignation yesterday afternoon, and the subsequent rumours Boris Johnson is preparing to put himself forward to return to 10 Downing Street, Kate Garraway and Adil Ray hosted a special political edition.
The ITV show looked back on Truss' short reign as Conservative Party leader, following the Prime Minister stepped down yesterday after just 44 days in power - making her Britain's shortest-serving Prime Minister ever.
As Good Morning Britain aired a segment looking back on Liz Truss' short stint in No 10, viewers watching at home quickly spotted an the spelling mistake in the caption of the montage.
In a statement of just 88 seconds delivered outside 10 Downing Street yesterday, Truss said she was unable to deliver on her mandate from the summer's Conservative Party leadership election - but viewers watching noticed 'forty' was misspelt on the band across the screen.
"Who is responsible for the banding on the screen @GMB Fourty Four?? I think you mean Forty Four," one viewer tweeted the show after spotting the spelling mistake.
Other spotted the error too, with another fan of the show adding: "It's Forty not fourty, absolutely amateurish drivel."
"What the hell? It's not fourty it's forty for crying out loud," a third fumed on Twitter, as another quipped: "Please learn how to spell FORTY (not fourty!)"
Earlier in this morning's edition of Good Morning Britain, political commentator Iain Dale warned viewers he wouldn't be surprised to see Johnson return to 10 Downing Street later this month - saying: "Boris is Boris and he will do what he likes."
Speaking alongside former Labour Party politician Jacqui Smith, Iain told Susanna Reid live from Westminster: "Tory backbenchers are a law upon themselves so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the 100 [nominations to proceed to the ballot]."
"The thing about Boris Johnson is the Conservative Party see him as an election winner," he explained on the ITV show this morning. "So we can't rule him out by any stretch of the imagination."
"Why would he stand?" Iain pondered when speaking to Susanna.
He continued: "I think he'd be better sitting this one out and wait until the next one but Boris is Boris and he will do what he likes."
"If he gets through to the final two [in the leadership election] he will win - whether it's Sunak or Mordaunt.
