Susanna Reid was praised for "shutting down" a Brexit remainer on Good Morning Britain today.
Hosts Susanna and Adil Ray were joined by guests Grace Blakeley and Andrew Pierce about the latest news headlines. But, things became heated as the presenter grilled Grace, who described herself as a Lexiteer, over her choice to remain in the EU.
A Lexiteer is a leftist supporter of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union. However, in a U-turn, Grace admitted she didn't vote for Brexit as she eventually said: "I voted remain."

Susanna began her questioning, as she said: "You describe yourself as a Lexiteer, so you supported Brexit?" Grace replied: "Well, yeah, for a number of reasons."
The presenter interrupted her as she said: "Do you think it was a good idea?" Grace continued: "I always said that Brexit was a process. It wasn't a fixed thing. And the way that it was handled was going to be dependent upon the political nature of the government that introduced it."
Susanna said: "Would you have voted for Brexit? I mean you did vote for Brexit." This was when Grace admitted she didn't vote for Brexit, telling the host: "I voted remain."
Susanna seemed confused as she said: "But you were a leaver?" Grace explained: "And then I got behind the popular vote."
As things seemed to be turning rather tense in the ITV studio, Grace said: "Why are we talking about Brexit again?" But Susanna would not let the guest wriggle out of the questioning.
She said: "No, no, no, we are certainly not done." Grace added: "I had lots of reasons for doing it."
Fans on Twitter applauded the GMB host for grilling Grace. One user said: "Grace Fakely being shown up by Susanna."
Jon said: "Great to see Susanna Reid expose Grace Blakeley's 'Lexit' idea/philosophy as the contradictory joke that it is. #GMB." Meanwhile, Dani said: "Grace Blakely done up like a kipper by Susanna, there. #gmb."
