GMB's Alex Beresford quits ITV West Country to take on new job

Alex Beresford GMB West Country

Weather presenter Alex Beresford has said his goodbyes to colleagues at ITV West Country as he takes on a new role with the broadcaster.

The Bristol-born TV star has spent 17 years presenting the forecasts across the South West, alongside more recently a prominent role on Good Morning Britain.

Alex, 40, will now take on a new position with the ITV national news team.
