Good Morning Britain presenters Ben Shepard and Charlotte Hawkins have paid tribute to a much-loved team member.
The ITV presenters were closing today's breakfast show when they paid tribute to a longstanding member of the team, as they announced she would be departing the show today after several years on the programme.
Ben and Charlotte reminisced about the good times as they admitted it was a "sad" day as they paid tribute to Rosaleen, who had worked initially as a bulletin editor before becoming a senior producer and then programme editor.
They recalled some of their favourite episodes with Rosaleen, including one where they were joined by a tiny dog that fit in a teacup.
Speaking at the end of the show, Charlotte paid tribute to her friend, saying: "Now just before we go, we are saying goodbye this morning to our editor, Rosaleen Poole, who is sadly leaving us. She has been with us since the start of Good Morning Britain as a bulletin editor, a senior producer, programme editor. She's leaving us on Monday. We're sad about that."
"We were just reminiscing this morning saying that Charlotte and I once did a show where we had a dog in a tea cup because it was so small and Rosaleen said I think that was my show," Ben then added as he recalled one of his favourite segments on the show.
As the show rolled into the credits, Ben had one final word to say: "What a way to finish, and Rosaleen, thanks for everything."
It comes after Susanna Reid announced she would be taking a long break from the ITV show over the summer, as she paid tribute to her wonderful colleagues who would be standing in for her in the meantime.
During the show, Ed asked Susanna if she was on holiday soon and what she might be doing with her time off.
"Today is my last day for the summer. I may be renting a beach hut. So just want to say thank you to everybody but I leave you in the very capable hands of this wonderful team over the summer," she said, confirming her summer break.
As they revealed what was coming up next, Susanna then quipped: "However, I'm not off yet, I still have 43 minutes."
Ben, Charlotte and many others will be standing in for Susanna whilst she's off, before she makes her return in a few weeks' time.
