GM Keeps Apple CarPlay And Android Auto On Its New Truck Interface

  • General Motors has announced a new user interface launching in the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
  • The new UI supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring.
  • Other features include high-contrast display hardware, new 3D visualizations, and mode-aware gauge clusters.

Update: The earlier version of this story suggested that GM was rolling out the software across its lineup, but the company has yet to confirm the new UI in other vehicles beyond trucks. An official statement from a GM spokesperson has been added.
